Vina Love, Born & Raised in Harlem, NY to SJ and DJ Kid Capri was molded into the Talent, CEO, Artist & Philanthropist she is Today. The Singer-Songwriter is not only making strides in the music industry but also in modeling, acting, directing, editing, Makeup & Beauty & constantly pushing the envelope in New York through Public schools and non profit organizations, creating opportunities and experiences for other young creatives and entrepreneurs by actively making herself available in all the right spaces. 


Vina Love began her career at 2 years old  excelling in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, African, and HipHop eventually becoming a fully trained Dancer. Anticipated enough by her family, she entered a performing arts High school [ Manhattan Theatre Lab H.S, MLK Campus ] where she discovered not only was she a dancer but a triple threat, a singer and an actress as well. She began to choreograph and scout through her peers for elaborate pieces on stage now embarking on her leadership and Visual skills. She Graduated high School having now encouraged so many of her peers professions essentially creating lifelong relationships within the industry. 


During Vina Loves senior year of High School she attended “ The College Now “ Program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she studied English and The studies of “ FGM “ in Africa, now beginning her interest in Women empowerment and advocating for those with so much culture, living with so much less. Vina Love ended her studies at John Jay and began her new college career at American Music and Dramatic Academy (AMADA) for Musical Theater while working at Olive Garden in Harlem, NY Later leaving school and working for good after 4 semesters, becoming a full time Musician. 


In 2015, already having created a social media following, Vina love went viral for her cover of Jay-Z & Mya “Best Of Me” which began her mark in the music industry generating over 500,000 Views on Youtube. Vina has now found her Niche in the game and Sampling HipHop & R&B Records isn’t far-fetched for the Hip Hop Baby herself. With now having a loyal social media following and now songwriting for other artists, Vina Love goes on to open up and perform with many fellow popular artists like Meg Thee Stallion, The Lox, Ashanti, Fat Joe, JaRule, RBRM and more. Releasing songs with artists like Snoop Dogg, Fergie Baby, Jadakiss and JackBoy. 


Before signing Vina’s first ever deal, she and her team decided it was the perfect time to start her own record label, Amoré Love Records; to maintain ownership of her content and masters. She began a partnership with an independent major label now recording and writing music everyday. Upon exiting the partnership, Vina Began a New Distribution partnership with the EMPIRE Record label creating quality music with her full creative involvement, Developing her own musical production team. She has become quite the businesswoman when it comes to handling her own affairs.


In addition to debuting her musicality on stage and behind the scenes, she has also taken her talents to television. Love starred as a cast member of WETV’s Growing Up Hip Hop NYC with her father, the legendary DJ Kid Capri. Love has also been featured on FOX 5 NY, FOX 29 Philadelphia, Sway in the morning, Hot 97,  The Breakfast Club, E! news, On the radar, a Netflix Movie named “ Fe@rless “ and all of your favorite radio stations. Vina Love also takes being a model and walking the runway to the next level especially during NYFW, even being featured in Harper's Bazaar Magazine.  


The summer of 2023, Vina Love was recognized by Mayor Adams of New York for her philanthropic work around New York City. Working with multiple non profits like ‘ Open door : The Urban block party’ where she enters NYC Public schools to talk, sing to and dance with the students and discuss the effects of bullying, violence and mental health which has opened the door for Vina to connect with the youth seamlessly. She is also involved with The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem giving back to the community year round and for the holidays. Her work is prevalent in New York with her own No media non profit event “ The Harlem Giveback '' where she gives away clothes, food, haircuts, home goods, books and book bags to children and those in need. Even making her rounds to churches and women’s shelters and shelters for the LQBTQ+ community. Coupled with Vina’s appearances, her creativity has not once left the studio. Vina Love continues to push the needle on the music game with her renowned professionalism and unstoppable tracks. There is no undeniable doubt of the star power Love poses along with her humanity, her aura of authenticity, and unique flair. 


In 2024, Vina Love released a Pop R&B record sampling Cameo’s “ CANDY “ with other special musical references poured into the record written in 2016 named “ Party “. She also released a Rap record Named “ BRAG “ written in 2017 intentionally created for another female rapper, being handed off to 3 other female rappers before appearing back into Vina’s hands. “ Why not ? “ She thought “ Let’s Have some fun “. Both songs have Visuals to them, completely immersing you into the experience with her. Vina’s versatile intent is clear and stable. Along with releasing singles every month, Vina Love plans on releasing her first project “ The Hood Marilyn Monroe “ with Producer Wellz.NYC. Though we may feel she’s made her mark, The journey is just beginning for “ The Harlem Princess “.
